Here is a video, so you can watch all the fun in action!

In the first week, you saw my inspiration board and in week 2, we went shopping! This week you will get a sneak peek at the room as it’s coming together and I did a few budget DIYs for the guest bedroom. I can’t believe we are almost to week 4, where I will share the big exciting reveal! Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, so you don’t miss out on the finale!

This week was so busy! I hung those sheer curtains from Walmart and I am so happy with how they look. I think they are really soft and breezy and elegant. They are the perfect touch to make this room super inviting.

It is going to be hard to show you what I have done without giving it ALL away before the BIG REVEAL next week! I will do my best…

I did a painting with those 2 canvases I found at Walmart. I created a diptych and used acrylic paint in beige, blue and white to create a soothing painting that reminds me of an abstract ocean scene. I even added a little texture to hint at some sand. I love that this adds a little color with that blue, yet still keeps the nice neutral colors I wanted for this room. Plus, there isn’t another one like it out there, so it makes it even more special for guests staying in this room!

I put together those nightstands with the wooden planks that I found at Walmart and the metal legs I found on amazon.com. I love how simple and elegant these little nightstands came out and it was such an easy project!

I added a grey headboard and found a matching grey ottoman style bench for the end of the bed. They are a nice shade of grey, not too light, not too dark. These 2 items were also on amazon.com for a pretty good price. I also got the little luggage rack for a really good price on amazon.com and I think it is the perfect touch for this small guest room.

Next Thursday, I will be sharing the BIG REVEAL of this guest bedroom. You will get to see all the little extra touches I put together to make guests feel super special when they visit. I can’t wait to share it with you! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a very happy day!
