Mother's Day Table Setting + Basil Lemonade Recipe

Today I want to share a beautiful Mother’s Day table setting. This post is for you, if you are having a Mother’s Day brunch or looking for some ideas on how to decorate for Mother’s Day.

This table decor would also work for a wedding or Spring/Summer party. It is so sharp looking!

I did a video where you can see the elegant navy and yellow tablescape come to life, and the recipe for the basil lemonade is right below the video.

Yummy basil lemonade

Ingredients

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

2 cups water

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon fresh minced basil

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the basil is completely broken down.

Or you can shake the ingredients together and allow the flavors to blend in the fridge for an hour or so, then strain before serving.

Pour over ice and serve immediately.

the tablescape

I found this navy and white striped tablecloth on amazon for $20. It is outdoor quality, so really durable, yet still looks and feels soft and silky. I usually do my tablescapes on the large dining table, but I wanted this to be an intimate space in the dinette area. If your dinette is visible from the living room, the decor will really cheer up this whole room.

I love using lemons for Spring and Summer decor. They cheer up the table and then you can use them for all kinds of recipes!

I did not venture out to buy this yellow bouquet. Instead, I had them delivered with my last Instacart order. Super handy to just have the groceries delivered right to your front door!

MOTHERS DAY TABLE SETTING

Gold and yellow go so well together because they both have warm undertones. I love the way the gold chargers look with the yellow roses.

The pop of green in the basil brings out the greenery in the florals.
